Edition Artist #01
Vergangenen Winter sind wir mit der historischen Foto Edition «Die Welt vor 100 Jahren» gestartet. Wir schliessen daran an in der Moderne und lancieren nun unsere erste Edition Artist (EA), die wir in unserem Studio in limitierten Kleinstauflagen von jeweils 3–7 Stück produzieren.
Mit den von uns ausgewàhlten Künstlern haben wir in enger Zusammenarbeit die Werke für die Edition Artist 01 entwickelt. Von der Auswahl bis zum Herstellungsprozess. Entscheidend war die Einzigartigkeit ihrer Arbeit und unsere subjektive visuelle und intelektuelle Anziehung. Das Resultat dieser Zusammenarbeit ist nun in der Ausstellung bis am 25.11.2018 zu sehen.
Für unsere EA#01 haben wir den niederländischen Fotografen Alexander Sporre (*1988), New Dutch Talent, den in Berlin wohnhaften Installations Künstler Thom Kubli (*1969), der einen begehrten Artist Grant am MIT in Boston bekommen hat, den Schweizer Fotografen Kurt Häfeli (*1954), den Künstler Alexander Bühler (*1977) und Diego Brambilla (*1978), Voies Off Arles (selected).

Sometimes some works require a much longer reflection on design than others in order to always be able to offer you absolutely unique pieces. “Rotms_zur_3” by Alexander Sporre, produced by blackprint edition, is an example of this.
Limited Edition of Antique Photographs
A private collection of antique photographs on glass,
which opened the desire to show these 150 year old photographs in a new but coherent manner and therefor in
