Limited Edition of Antique Photographs
A private collection of antique photographs on glass opened the desire to show the 150 year old photographs in a new but coherent manner and therefor in limited series. This has materialized in the self-published project blackprint edition.

Each piece is numbered and comes with a certificate. We print on very selected and rare art paper like Cartalafranca (CH), Basler Papiermühle (CH) and Japanese traditional paper (JP).
We chose our subjects on terms of quality and uniqueness. Each antique glassplate from our collection is printed with the least digital corrections, maintaining traces of age physically and chemically.
Karo Edition & Karo Edition Limited
The Karo Editions size is 30 × 30 cm. Each fine-art print is numbered and delivered in a vinyl style packaging with a window protected by a clear cover made of recycled polymers. Each topic is chosen from our glassplate collection.
