Limited Edition

We print our Limited Editions on very selected and rare artpaper like Cartalafranca (CH) , Basler Papiermühle (CH) and Awagami (JP). Each piece is numbered and comes with a certificate.

We chose our subjects on terms of quality and uniqueness. Each of our antique glassplates is printed with the least digital corrections maintaining traces of age physically and chemically.

Karo Edition

The Karo Editions papersize is 30 x 30. Each print is numbered and delivered in a vinyl style packaging with a window protected by a clear cover made of recycled polymers. Acid-free and biodegradable. Each topic is chosen from our glasplate collection.

Comes in a black, matt vinyl style packaging and is printed on very exclusive paper from Switzerland, Japan and India. Each piece is numbered and comes with a certificate.

Artist Edition

The “blackprint edition x artist” we dedicate to the contemporary photographers and artists. In a collaboration we transform selected art pieces into limited editions.

Printing Technique

For our black and white prints we work with the excellent Piezography and the newest Piezography Pro System which opens up new worlds in black and white printing.
We use no additional colours for our monochromatic prints but 7–10 grey- and black carbon inks.

Paper

We love the world of Paper. Handmade Paper is already a unique piece of art on its own. Industrial produced paper holds the place in the contemporary art photography. We love to print them all and choose the paper very carefully for our editions.
