wonow is a French artist based in Switzerland, working in ink, charcoal, and digital tools.The practice is built on a single constraint : no premeditated composition, and no going back. What remains after each work is the gesture as it occurred — an accumulation of marks, an energy arrested at the moment of its resolution.
From large-scale ink drawings to digital works, photography, film, and performance, the medium changes but the logic does not. At blackprint edition, this practice extends across several series — each with its own materials and its own mode of presentation — from carbon pigment prints on Japanese Washi to a multi-part phygital polyptych.

“P.06062015” is an improvised charcoal and oil drawing performance on a 220 × 220 cm canvas, filmed from a visual perspective and lasting 35 minutes. The entire performance is, for the first time, exclusively available as NFTs. The film is divided into 8 sequences of 4 minutes and 30 seconds each. Each sequence is a limited edition of 8 copies + 2 APs and is available on @objkt.com.
“P.06062015” is part of a series of public performances of improvised drawings spanning from 2007 to 2015. Each performance consists of a video installation/projection and a sound work (concrete music). The sound work is prepared by the artist before the performance and used as support for the improvisation. Some performances were duets with other artists present on the canvas (soprano vocalist, dancer, and/or musician elaborating live sound improvisation).
“P.06062015” is wonow’s first performance adding oil color to charcoal (and without concrete music) and serves as the prelude to a 45-minute public performance (N 45°57’33.753” E 8°59’8.242” / P.20150620220210”) in June 2015.
